This weekend Anime Secrets will be covering two conventions, Anime Boston and Anime Matsuri. Covering the events of Anime Boston we will have Mercenary Agents AncientSummoner, Kouichi Kimura, and Administrative Officer Kuroi. While Mercenary Agents Duck King, Sin01, and myself in attendence of Anime Matsuri. Expect some good coverage of these events to follow in the coming weeks, but in the mean time, check out our review of Oni-Con 2007.

Yet another year has come and gone, and Junior Vice Commander Mira is another year older, wiser and cooler! So Happy Birthday to Mira on behalf of Anime Secrets even if we are two days late to announce this.

Also in other news that is actually related to the first announcement, as many of you know, Anime Secrets lost it's former domain, AnimeSecrets.net, due to some problems with our former host a couple of years ago. Thus was born AnimeSecrets.org. However after two years of waiting we have successfully recovered the AnimeSecrets.net domain, thanks to Mira's love for us. What does that mean for you guys? You now have two addresses to reach us from!

After a month of some heavy deliberation, we have reached some results concerning the Editor and Reviewer applications. First off, I would like to thank everyone who applied for their interest. Without everyone’s participation this event would not have been successful. So without further ado, I would like to welcome two new Editors to staff: Administrative Officers Kuroi and Miki. As for the Reviewer side of things, we have decided to enter a Phase II Reviewer Application process to request more materials from two candidates before accepting them into the reviewing positions. I hope to have those results in as soon as possible. And yes, that is a review update below, courtesy of our new Editors, wasting no time in getting to work!
